    • Is 5 Star Airport Shuttle & Transportation registered with the State of Florida?

      Yes, this is a requirement for all professional transportation services.

    • Are you licensed and insured?

      Yes, absolutely!

    • Do you have flat rates and what does this mean exactly?

      We charge one set price for the vehicle per reservation.  If a share-ride (up to 6 persons) is provided, each reservation fee will be adjusted and we will charge a reduced rate.

    • What forms of payment do you accept?

      Your driver will accept cash and all major credit cards. Payment is made to the driver at point of service. 

    • Why do you need a credit card up front?

      Your credit card is required to hold your reservation and is the confirmation for your booking. Your card will not be charged unless authorized by the cardholder or if the customer violates the cancellation policy.

    • What is your cancellation policy?

      There is a one hour cancellation policy. Customers must cancel at least one hour prior to pickup time or card will be charged the fully quoted transportation fee.

    • Do you issue a receipt?

      Absolutely, the driver can email a receipt for credit card or cash transactions upon completion of the service.

    • Is it possible to get last minute service?

      Yes, although we prefer 48 hour notice. Most of the time we can service your request up to the last hour.

    • How long is the drive from Amelia Island to the Jacksonville International Airport?

      Once you are in the vehicle it will take about 35 minutes from the island to the airport or vice versa.

    • Where will you pick me up at the Jacksonville International Ariport?

      Our driver will wait for you downstairs, inside the terminal, next to baggage carousel #1. The driver will have a sign with your name or company on it.

    • What about baggage?

      Allowable baggage for air travel consists of 2 check-in luggage and 1 carry-on per person. Please let us know at booking time if you have excess baggage so we can accommodate you.
